After having been impressed by the playing strength of the local AIs that run in your browser and that seem to play at grandmaster level, here’s a blunder that even I would have avoided, performed by “Fox 0.32”, which I guess is their top AI.
If you have a four point board and your opponent has nothing and you have a good number of rolls to cover a blot on the 3 point you hit and let the blot stay there to make a five point board. The best move is _obviously_ 10/9 6/3* – bringing a second checker to cover the blot with all 4s and 6s and a couple of indirect combinations. Unclear why such an otherwise good AI played so conservative there.
It seems I need to play a couple more games until I know the rating well enough for a review.
